#media2012 wins PODIUM award!

#media2012 wins PODIUM award!

This week, PODIUM announced that #media2012 has won a Bronze medal, as part of their London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games awards. This is a great achievement for a grassroots project funded mainly on good will and trust. The award ceremony will take place on 3 May in London. For more information, click here.

In May 2011, Andy Miah and Gaby Jenks went to the BBC London 2012 office, on invitation from their 2012 Steering Group Director Roger Mosey to present #media2012. Hopefully, it’ll be the start of a conversation about our relationship with their programming. They were reportedly ‘blown away’ with the plans we have.
